Liisa is a Northern Virginia native, and a graduate of the Fairfax County Public Schools system where she attended J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church.  She received her Batchelor of Arts Degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA, and later earned a Masters of Arts in Ministry and Human Service Counseling from Regent University.  She has spent 9 years teaching in various school districts in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan area.  She is proud to have the opportunity to honor God and to serve as a teacher at Ascension Lutheran School.
